Today our activity is My ABCs and Me and we lead egress approximately 20 minutes to work with the children on knowledge their ABCs. I ordain put a depicting of an apple on the board for the children to see. I go forth use the word Apple to introduce the sound of the letter, and shed the children repeat the word with me, focusing on the A sound. We will discuss any of the childrens names that begin with or have an A in it.

I will evolve an apple around to each of the children and let them feel it and kernel it. We will have the children find items in the classroom that have the A sound in them and then to finish up the activity, I will let the children color a picture of the! letter A for them to take home with them. I will make copies of the artwork for the walls in the classroom. I will in like manner ask the children to work with their parents to find items in their house that has the A sound in them.
